Always have some available when you go into the woods. If your charcloth gets wet just shake off the water and ignite. Burns very hot, use Charcloth to ignite burlap, straw wood, steel wool, fatwood dust/chips, dryer lent, and vaseline cotton balls. Charcloth has been used for hundreds of years to start fires. Charcloth will also ignite with a Ferro Rod or Flint and Steel.
